Bar Rioja

Without a doubt the best potato omelette in the entire world and abroad. The mojama and roe sandwich is another marvel.

They are one of those places with charisma, with a good atmosphere, good food, familiar, fun, and when I go I like both to eat and to be inside the bar because of the gathering that often takes place... because the owners are very loved by the customers... they make a homemade menu to eat there and also take away. For me this great little place is a gem, recommended!!! A hug from this Barcelonan!!!

This little place is amazing, it serves great tapas everything is freshly cooked everyday, they don’t have a menu as everyday it serves different tapas, we come here most days as it’s just across form our hotel, but seriously if you want to experience the real authentic Spanish tapas come here NOT tapas alley as it’s only geared up for tourists, bar Rioja is definitely worth a visit, it’s owned by a husband and wife and they are both lovely people they speak very little English but if you point they will understand what you want, it’s very cheap and is always full of Spanish people. If like me you like your coffee ask for cafe Bon Bon it’s a little expresso in a glass with condensed milk you mix them both together and drink (you can have this drink hot or over ice both ways are delicious) it’s very sweet so no need for sugar, I’ll definitely be back here in the future thanks very much bar Rioja see you on our next visit

Very friendly Spanish owners

Good place to have lunch or dinner. Both menu and à la carte. Good service and attention, they work hard and the product is good and the quantities are generous. Highly recommended, large living room and terrace.
